We started our day scanning 40 QR's, solving math problems, coloring a grid, and finding a hidden picture! We found 100 hidden in our grid! Then we worked at 8 different stations using what we know about 100! We had so much fun celebrating 100 days of 1st grade! 1. Hershey Kiss 100's Chart Reading numbers to 100 and matching them to a hundreds chart. 2. Build a 100 Cup Structure Oh, how we laughed every time we heard the cups crash! I love that no one got frustrated or gave up on a challenge! 3. 100 Pattern Block Creation Count out 100 pieces and design something cool! 4. 100 gumballs Draw 100 circles in your gumball machine! 5. 100 marshmallow and toothpick creation What can you build with 100 marshmallows? This might have been the hardest challenge! 6. 100 Snap Cube Creation Count out 100 cubes and see what you can create! 7. Roll and Race to 100 Roll one die and color the hundreds chart. use a count on strategy to get to 100. Roll many rolls did it take to reach 100? 8. Ice Cream Scoop 10's 10 scoops of 10 makes 100! Trace, cut and glue. 100 days together, 100 reasons I love your child!

Hats off to these two cowgirls dressed for the day! Pretty in Plaid!
All decked out for our farm themed day. Congratulations to this Cowgirl! Landry is our class winner for the key of Commitment. She is a hard worker, and we all appreciate her efforts!
If you misplace your copy of the One Book Blitz Reading Schedule, you can access this digital copy! We hope you enjoy reading along with us. Tonight you will read more about Fern and Wilbur, learn more about Wilbur's life as a piglet, and meet two new family members. What does your child remember from last night? How do they feel at the end of this chapter?
This may be a great resource for your child to practice AR testing and motivate them to read more books at home.
