My friendly yet mischievous classroom elf has returned! Meet Buddy! He helped decorate our room for the holiday season...it snowed! Ask your child about our elf tradition.
On Thursday, we had a Thanksgiving feast together! I am thankful for our class and friendships. They loved our decorated tables!
In our story this week, turtle paints spots on Leopard. We found out if we could make things too! First, we tried making green. We used what we knew about blue and yellow to mix colors and make different shades. Then we tried making playdoh! Using flour, salt, and water, can you make playdoh? Your dough has to hold a shape like a ball. What do you know? "Flour is a soft powder." What do you need to know? "How much do we need to use?" How can you improve your creation? " Add more salt? Add more flour?" We had some success! Ask your child about their team's challenge. This would be a fun activity to try again at home over Thanksgiving break!
