Splat, Striker, and Smokie have clean bedding, water, and extra treats for the holidays, but they are not completely happy with you all gone! They think it is crazy to have a quiet classroom! They will be excited to see you return in January.

Thank you to all our parents who donated items and helped organize our Polar Express Party. We had a fun day in pajamas. We played a book exchange game, enjoyed extra chocolate, marshmallow and peppermint hot chocolate, watched a movie, and ate delicious treats! 2014 has been a great start to our journey together. I can't wait to see what 2015 will bring your child and our class.
Buddy left us a reminder! He is obviously excited about our party. He had already started drinking the hot chocolate and made quite a mess! Please help your child remember their Polar Express ticket in the morning. They need to have their ticket to come on-board our celebration train! Also, your child may wear their favorite (school appropriate) pajamas to the party.
Thank you to Carol Barrett for all her planning, prep, and organization! Our parents are what make Sam Houston "the best school that we know!" On Tuesday, we met Henry the Robot from Denso. Henry was created this summer and has been programmed to play Connect 4. Sashi challenged him to a game and did a phenomenal job competing against this computer brain. Does your child think robotics might be in their future?
Buddy was in a better mood today! He was playing a game with his friend Woody, and he raised our stars to 4! I hope our behavior choices continue to keep him happy.
