Today, we went to Kroger. It was not the typical Kroger experience when you purchase groceries with your parents! We decorated cookies in the bakery, cored pineapple in produce, pet a lobster in the meat department, walked in a freezer with 20 below 0 temperatures, and went balloon fishing in the floral department! Whew! Oh yes, and saw the monster with teeth in the back stock area crushing boxes. Thank you Mr. Lynn Cox for hosting the 1st grade Sam Houston Smokies! We had a great time learning more about Community Workers in our own Neighborhood! Not to mention, it was the bus experience for many of our friends. What was your child's favorite part of our first 1st grade field trip?
